Kate Whitchurch joined GEP Utah in January 2008 bringing more than 5 years experience in event and meeting planning. Her career began at Western Leisure, where she worked part time as an event coordinator until she was hired on full time after graduating from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion and Education. While at Western Leisure, Kate had the opportunity to train and become a local tour guide and has since then guided several local tour groups during her time at GEP. Living and working in the Salt Lake area her entire life, Kate is well versed in everything there is to do in here. Her immense knowledge of the ins and outs of the venues, hotels and restaurants - as well as the city hot spots - gives her an edge that each of her clients respect and appreciate. As an avid sports enthusiast and amateur athlete, Kate loves the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
